Executive Summary

Joe Garrison, whom you have met at the Nick Adams Anniversary event in Tampa, is proud to announce the establishment of the Trade Jobs Matter Foundation. As the founder and chairman, Joe is dedicated to advancing the cause of skilled trades through education and support. Our foundation has successfully filed the Articles of Incorporation and elected a board of directors who are committed to our mission.

Current Initiatives

  • Website Development

We are in the process of developing a comprehensive website that will serve as a resource for students, educators, and donors. This platform will provide detailed information about our programs, upcoming events, and opportunities to get involved.

  • Collaboration with School Boards

Our foundation is actively collaborating with the Polk County School Board and other school boards to integrate trade education into high school curriculums. This partnership aims to inspire students to consider careers in the skilled trades and provide them with the necessary resources to succeed.

  • Mission and Goals

The primary objective of the Trade Jobs Matter Foundation is to raise funds to financially assist high school students pursuing trade school education. By alleviating the financial burden, we aim to empower students to follow their passion for skilled trades without the constraints of economic hardship.

Future Plans

Fundraising Campaigns:

Launch various fundraising initiatives to support scholarships and educational programs for aspiring trade professionals.

Community Engagement:

Increase awareness and support for trade education through community events and partnerships with local businesses.

Scholarship Programs:

Develop scholarship opportunities specifically tailored to meet the needs of students entering trade schools.

We believe that by investing in the future of skilled trades, we can build a stronger, more sustainable workforce. The Trade Jobs Matter Foundation is committed to making a significant impact in the lives of students and the communities they will serve. We invite you to join us in this vital work to support and promote the importance of trade jobs in our society.
