Electrician

Job Description
Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in homes, businesses, and industrial settings. Average Time to Complete Training
4–5 years, including a paid apprenticeship combining on-the-job training (8,000 hours) and classroom instruction (144 hours per year). Pre-apprenticeship programs (6–12 months) can provide a head start.

Average Pay Scale
Starting: $40,000–$50,000/year
Median (Polk County): $60,000/year
Experienced/Master Electrician: $80,000–$100,000+/year
